Master Sailor (sketchbook version)

mastersailorblog
The sketchbook version of this before I mucked around with it in photoshop.

Festive Betty

bettychristmasblog

Just a quick one to wish you all a belated Merry Christmas and all the best for 2010…

Poolga

poolga_bellblog

The iPhone and iPod Touch wallpapers I made for poolga are finally up and ready to be downloaded! There’s one of Alexander Graham Bell and one of Dr Martin Cooper and you can see some of the development work for them on my flickr.

Science

More collage/sketching from the crazybook…there’s an endless supply of these.

Wedding Invitations

kj_invite

The finished printed cards that came from the original ideas I posted here. I’m pretty pleased with the way they came out in the end, hopefully Kenny and Jess are too and if you are interested the RSVP is here.

Scottish Invasion

ecosseinvasion

We’ve all heard of the famous Falkirk Triangle and as the BBC says Scotland is the “Costa Del Sol” for aliens. For more evidence go here or here.

Dr Martina Cooper

martinacooper

I’ve been doing some bits around Dr Martin Cooper and Alexander Graham Bell, click here to see some more (if you’re into that kind of thing).

I’ve also been listening (repeatedly) to Aidan Moffat’s cover of Nine Million Bicycles by the fantastically irritating Katie Melua, click here to see her being dragged around by her feet like some kind of medieval torture.

Hang on!

climbing

Just another vector from work so here’s an inspirational quote to lift the tone.
“Many years ago, I climbed the mountains, even thought it is forbidden. Things are not as they teach us; the world is hollow, and I have touched the sky.”
A dying Star Trek character…

Wedding Cards

Just a couple of beginnings of designs that didn’t make the cut, from some wedding related freelance I’ve been working on. The finished design will be off to the printers next week…hope you’re happy with how they turn out KJ.

60’s Psychedelic Collage

60scollage

Whilst we were on the Scottish Tour I put together some new collages in the same vein as the Betty ones. If you click on the image above you can see the story so far.

These ones are from an old Taschen postcard book of Sixties Design that includes graphics, furniture, fashion and more…You’ll probably recognise bits of Disraeli Gears in the image above. The good people at Taschen are still making the book and you can see some of the images in their unadulterated state here.
