The trailer for the film of The Road is out today. Looks like it’s keeping pretty faithfully to the storyline of the book and the set/costume design look pretty spot on too.

Cool. It does look good. I read half the book in the shop cos it was easy and then bought Blood Meridian which is hard. determined to finish it though. 60 pages to go!

It’s definitely post-apocalyptic, though not as relentlessly violent as Blood Meridian (or so i’ve heard) should be good but probably not a first date movie…

I probably won’t be watching it. It was a brilliant book which has stayed with me, but I don’t think I can face it again…
